In recent weeks Ica, a major wine-producing centre in southern Peru, saw the first Carraro Tractors Meeting in Latin America.
This important event, organised by our Peruvian dealer Fulltec in collaboration with Team Carraro Tractors, was first and foremost an opportunity to meet all those who have helped make our Agricube tractors a familiar name in South America, where our brand is now known and appreciated. It also gave us the chance to present the new Carraro Passepartout tractor to our South American dealers and their customers; this latest model comes with two engines - 90hp and 110hp - for the two versions (open station and with cab).
The Carraro Passepartout is an open-field tractor ideal for the extended plots of land frequently found in this sometimes rugged yet luxuriant area - the contrasts of a country that has so much to offer.
After a brief explanation of the specific characteristics of the two models, those present were able to try out the tractors directly on the field, getting a first hand feel for their performance levels.
This was a truly important moment both for the local dealers and customers and for Team Carraro Tractors, that was able to reap the rewards of a project involving notable collaboration with its network. A project that now sits alongside a range of products received positively by the market, with their value recognised well beyond the national boundaries.
