In the early 30s, in Campodarsego, Italy, Carraro was founded thanks to the natural evolution of an intuition: find solution to improve the quality of life and work of those who operate every day in agriculture. Therefore, the company created the first self-propelled seeder.
  • 1950

It was in the 1950s that the company ventured into the farm tractor market with the production in 1958 of the first “Tre Cavallini” branded tractor. Precisely during this period the company has undergone a transformation thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Mario Carraro, who will guide the Group from now on. The markets development determines a rapid technological evolution of Carraro tractors, that quickly took on an advanced configuration and became all-wheel drive.

  • 1983

Agritalia evolves: from agricultural machines – seeders, tilling machines and harrows – it converts to the production of tractors marketed with the historical Carraro three-horse trademark, after Carraro S.p.A. withdrew completely from the process.
  • 1989 - 2005

In 1989 the assembly of agricultural drivelines for special tractors, strategically crucial components for Agritalia production, is transferred to Rovigo. The following year the Carraro Agri-X tractor was born. In the following years Agritalia grows in size and capacity; the facility is renewed and the logistics and production flows are adjusted to the needed to increase the volumes. Two other models have been produced before the current Agricube. In 1996 the Agri-up tractor was born. The AgriPlus model, however, dates back to 2005.
